So far, only those people who premium processed H-1B visa petitions have received emailed receipts. If you did not premium process, you will not receive an emailed receipt- but will instead have to wait for paper receipt. I recommend that Employers/Attorneys regularly check bank accounts to see if filing fees checks have been cashed. You may find out if a petition was accepted by seeing if USCIS took the money before you receive the paper receipt notice from USCIS.
