  • H1 is approved but employer is asking me to find other job.

I am working full time in company X, my H1 got approved this year filed through company X.
But my employer is saying that he cannot find any more work that can utilize me, so he has said to start looking for new jobs and get H1 transferred.

    1. When can I transfer my H1 to any other company, although I dont have any offer right now, I have to start searching for jobs?
    2. If I get my H1B card on October 1, then can I transfer it in mid/end of October to other company?
    3. Is there any minimum amount of time I should stay on current H1?
    4. What are the problems/chances of H1 transfer failing if I transfer immediately after October 1?

Need some guidance please, thanks in advance.

        1) You can transfer you H1b when ever you want but I recommend that you first find a job for a client via a vendor to be on safe side, Make sure you are running payroll during the process atleast 20 hrs or so 2) You made till here and you must be happy for that, you can transfer when ever you want to you just need to find an employer that is willing to sponsor you 3) It dose not matter you have duration of 6yrs and it all your choice 4) You have an approved H1b they cant fail that now only thing that they can do it ask more docs when you transfer and so... Good Luck

All you people with H1B visa and no work should be deported. Because of people like you H1B applications get inflated and deserving candidates do not get picked.
