Hello,
Here is my situation. Currently I'm in the US on F1 Visa working on OPT STEM. I have a Masters degree in Computer Science. Unfortunately, my H1B application was not picked up in the lottery and my OPT will be ending in NOV 2014.
So, I am planning to join in a Masters degree but this time interested to take up any management course(either MBA/HR).
So, here are my queries:
1) Since my OPT expires in NOV 2014 I need to transfer my SEVIS to a school before my OPT expires or can I do it, until my grace period expires?
2) If I join a management course now, will there be any issues, when I apply for H1B next year(With Masters Degree in Computer Science)?
3) If my H1B gets approved next year(basing on my Computer Science Masters Degree), can I continue working in STEM field and complete my course part-time?
4) Or if I get any Internship based on the Management course can I keep my H1B approval on hold(not sure of the correct terminology here) and continue study on F1 doing internship.
5) And once I complete the course and get my degree, and successfully find a job(something related to Management/HR) can I amend my H1B and/or transfer to different company? Will there be any issues in this regard?
I know lot of questions. But, any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
