H1B Filing Query

Hi Folks,
Myself John Milton from India, currently pursuing my MBA from Lincoln University(1st sem, summer) California. I have already completed my MBA in India and this would be my 2nd MBA in US. I am planning to complete my MBA by April end 2015 within one year by taking extra courses per sem.
I want to file for H1B visa this coming April 2015, since I am from MBA background I will be having OPT only for an year. Hence, I want to have 2 chances at H1B visa. One after my Masters and other one after OPT.
My question is am I eligible for applying H1B just before completion of my Masters(April end 2015)??? Will that effect my H1B filing after my OPT if at all my H1B is not picked at the 1st shot. Pls clarify my doubts??

You can file your H1B in 2015 but if you will not complete your masters before April 2015 , you are not eligible to file under master quota, you have to file under general quota.

I think you should be able to file if the employer is ready to do so. You need to maintain your status in US until you get working visa . As long as you are able to maintain your legal status in US you can file for H1 several times. You can also talk to your international advisor and employer before making any final decisions. Yes you can. However, you will not be considered in the Master's CAP. To be eligible for that you must have graduated prior to filing your H1B application and should be from a public or non-profit University...

Apply for CPT and get work permit also u have to have job offer in your hand so u can apply for it by 2015. And after that u can apply on opt.
