• Is it safe joining Day 1 CPT schools? after Tri-valley university incident ??

I haven't received my receipt notice yet. Now I lost my hopes too on receiving one.
I'm just thinking forward on what to do in the next further months
My OPT expires in Dec - 2014.
So, should I join Day 1 CPT giving schools ?? (OR) join a low fees giving Masters college which gives without CPT ??
I have this question because of Tri-valley university case.
please give me your valuable suggestions

Thanking you in advance.
Sri.

If you want to continue working, then join a school that gives CPT from day 1.

If you just want to stay in this country, then join a low fee school for another Masters degree. But you cannot apply for OPT with the second masters degree.

Trivalley incident was because it was unaccredited. Look for an accredited school that gives CPT from day one

My 2 cents , make sure that school gives you a letter that
A) CPT is integral part of their curriculum
Also,
B) Your CPT should be directly related to your program of study
C) Try and keep your CPT in the same state (preferably same city ) as university.
D) enroll in 9 credits every semester and keep your attendance close to 80%
E) Do mention to your professors and in your CPT report how your CPT helped you in implementation of your in class skills.

Tri Valley was letting students enroll in online class only which led to its downfall.
