How to apply H1B?

Hello Guys,

I am new to this forum and I have question.

I am working as a software employee for an organisation. I wanted to know how an individual can apply for an H1B and what will be the process.
Please let me know if there are any threads exisiting in this site.

Are you in the U.S.? What status are you in?

A U.S. employer must first offer you a job and then they will file the H-1B on your behalf. The application must be filed by the first week of April and your start date will be October 1, 2014.

Your question sounds vague. But if you meant to say how you get H1, typical answer answer would be your employer files your H1B petition naming you as a beneficiary. So basically your employer will have a legal proceeding team or attorneys who process all your required documents for the petition. Your employer will own the petition and you will just be the beneficiary.
