Hi,
I am planning to apply for H1B this year.
I have few questions.
1. Name mismatch:
I have two words in my first name.
My undergraduate docs has my name with Last name cut-shorted to a letter and then my entire First name.
My MS docs has the Full last name and First word of first name and the second word is mentioned as middle name (cut-shorted to middile initial).
My I-20/OPT EAD/Passport/VISA all have full name (First name + Last name).
Is it OK having such inconsistency? Or do I need to request my universities to change the name on the diploma certificates?
2. Do we need official transcripts as well from the Undergraduate university (India)? Or does the diploma suffice?
3. Travel in march:
If I come back to USA on March 20th, is it safe? If not, can you mention the safest time that I should be here.
Note: My employer is doing my H1B through FRAGOMEN.
