  • MS in EE,Whats the chance of getting H1B/GC if applying from IT

    Hi guys,
    I have my MS in EE. Still now I have no luck of finding a job in EE.
    My question is if I switch to IT will it be a problem to get H1B or GC later?

        yes for both h1 and gc because your major is diff. then what u r working on... u might get rfe in both... so dont do it

              No issues at all. I personally know people who is from chemical and EEE background and Agriculture who got their Citizenship and GC with no issues All the best!

                u r h1b can be achieved by both this points under 8cfr ..
                (2) The degree requirement is common to the industry in parallel positions among similar organizations or, in the alternative, an employer may show that its particular position is so complex or unique that it can be performed only by an individual with a degree;
                ( 3 ) The employer normally requires a degree or its equivalent for the position; or
