F1 Student coming this summer for Masters. Transferring to other university due to high Fee. How many times can we transfer? In future would University impact H1B visa?

Hi, I am an indian student coming to the summer for masters , I have got F1 visa. I have not taken any credits in current university.I want to transfer to other university because my current university ( Ohio university) is having more fee and becoming more expensive.
so , now planning to transfer my university to Texas A&M Kingsville.....which is low cost. Maximum how many times can we transfer the universites till graduation.
I have one more doubt, is getting H1B visa depends on the university , where we do MASTERS?

You can transfer two times at the max... and i dont think it will affect on H1B... if you are still in India you can go to Consulate and change the University name and directly go to Texas A&M and continue there without any transfers... one of my friend did the same way..

Hello, and welcome to US. You can transfer as many times as you can. But the university you are transferring to may only accept upto 9 credit(3 subject) from all your previous universities. Some univ might not accept any credits. So you will basically waste your tuition fees of the previous univ. Not sure about univ impact on H1. Since your Company will file your H1, not the univ. And your both univ's are good so shouldn't worry that much

You can transfer to any number of schools you want to ....... But only 9 credits from previous school will be transferred to your new school only if the subjects you have completed are related to your course in the new school and in your case you can transfer out to your new school the money you land in USA and there won't be any impact on your H1 and it totally depends on your employer

If he/she does not go to the consulate in India before coming to US, would be a problem later, during H1B visa or F1 extension ? Thanks.

Transfer of University does not necessarily mean transfer of credit. workout the math. H1B is long way ahead and shouldn't be a problem.
