i94 wrong name by uscis

hello in my i94 my middle name has less characters (example real middle name- pavankumar in i94- pavanku) . which looks like mistake by USCIS during port of entry. while applying for social security denial letter officer told me "your name is not matching with homeland security we will have to conform your document with uscis" . does I have to visit uscis office to make change ? or is there any other option like e mail ? or short middle name in there system is normal ?

Visit to any near by Customs and Border Protection office(most of them are located at airport). It is a 2mins job(Carry passport and any more relevant documents ) and updated I-94 will be available in online with in next 2 hours. Hope it will resolve your issue.
