L1toF1 and then H1

Hi

Currently I am on L1 which is getting maxed out in Dec 2016 and have my I-140 approved .I couldn't get H1 this year .I am planning to get enrolled in college and change status to F1. In case I get H1B is approved nxt year how much time would I be getting ...will the time spent on L1 be deducted?

I dont thin h1 and l1 are related...
On h1 you will have 6 years
Since you have a approved i140 and If you stick with the same employer... You can have extensions... Good luck
