Visa for 2nd masters

I am planning to do a 2nd M.S. from a reputed university and I will not be pursuing any career during studies.
1) Please let me know if it is not advisable to travel to home country during this time of studies.
2) My first F-1 visa stamp expired already. Will there be any issues on visa re-stamping?
