OPT to F1 - Time gap

Hi ,
I have completed my Master's (MBA, Hospital Mgmt) and currently working on OPT.
My OPT is going to expire in April 2016, I have two questions, and would highly appreciate your help and advise in this regard.
1. Since I have not find any sponsor to get H1, I am planning to switch to F1 and join a college,
Can I do that?
2. If I switch to F1 , the college semester is going to start summer 2016 (July/August 2016), but my OPT is going to expire in April 2016.
What status I will be on during the gap of 3-4 months (April to July/August 2016).
What are my options?
Please help.

You need to join the collage in jan intake only

[DesiOPT-FaceBook-Fan]

1. Yes, you can join a school as full time student to continue on F1 status.

2. Some schools have Summer intake, try for them.
