Need advice on current situation

Hi all ,
My STEM extension expires on October 1st week and am also working full time under a consultancy. I would like to maintain my F1-visa by joining another university nearby ( Los Angeles).
MY questions :

a) Is it too late to join for another university as fall admissions are over and a student can stay upto 60 days after his STEM expires?

b) What universities would you suggest? I had a look at this list. What are points to be considered when selecting university as in, accredited or not ? I heard IAU is close by but have been reading bad reviews about them comparing to degree mill

c) How does it impact on visiting India and back? I've not been able to visit them from past 5 years though. I'm thinking of getting them here once I figure things out here for my grad walk.

My current plan is to finish thesis I'm working on to officially graduate from my first masters degree. Join another uni to maintain F1 status , work full time with employer who will sponser my H1-B.

Any advice/suggestions are welcome.

Wanted to know what happens if you don't update your school within 10 days of employment change!! It's been more than 2 months and I didn't update with the new employement info on my opt need help!!!

It's not advised to do CPT from day 1 it's very risky , better to try for h1 from India . If you did masters your chance of h1 is higher always . This is my opinion

If we file from INDIA after masters , do we come under 20,000 quota for higher studies for h1 b ? I mean are the chances the same as in USA

yes the chances are the same always ..if you do MS you have two chances through the lottery system

But you have to graduate with a masters degree from a U.S. Based non profit university.

My suggestion, go to another country that's more immigration friendly and get a second masters.
