What will be my visa status

I got an admit from university A for fall 2015 and entered into US on student visa. I also have H4 dependant visa. Now my questiono are,
1. If I do not attend university A and reapply for spring 2016, what will be my visa status?
2. If I get an admit for spring 2016, and I go to India in december, do I have to apply F1 again?
