F1 Summer vacation for 3 months with no registered courses

Hi,


I had taken thesis option in my MS and I finished all my courses in May 2015 except for my thesis defence. I don't have any courses registered for the summer So I have come back to India inMay 3rd week and will be back in Aug 3rd week by the time University opens. I have already registered for Fall 2015 for my thesis defence. Will there be any issue during immigration ? Is it okay to be out of US for 3 months with no registered courses ? Thank you.

The most important thing if you are coming back on an F1 is to have a valid I-20 and time still left on your visa. Immigration is unlikely to check your schedule.
