Applying to college after OPT Expiration

Hi Guys,

I am planning to apply to grad school next fall. I have a U.S. bachelors degree and currently am working on my OPT which will expire this summer and I won't be applying for a H1B. I need to complete some pre-requisite classes before I can apply to grad school next fall. So, I am planning to take those classes at a community college this fall. My question is - when I fill out the college application, do I apply as a new student or a transfer student considering, I already have a U.S. bachelors degree ? Your advise is appreciated. Thanks.

New student. U will most probably be consider as doing 2nd under grad degree.

Depends on the school. I think it would be Masters or Grad with pre reqs. Please check with the school if the need GRE or GMAT

New student with second undergraduate degree. You can't just take any classes as an international student. You will have to declare a major while applying. I would suggest you declare a major that can cover your pre-requisites and Tnen just apply for masters when you are done.
