Can someone travel next year on B2

Hi everyone, I got a quick question my parents got B2 visa for my Graduation Ceremony but they are not willing to travel now. They are planning to come next year for visit. Will it create a problem in future if they don't attend for graduation now. Someone is telling me that one should use their visa within six months of their approval otherwise it will be invalid, Is that True? Thanx in advance and special thanx to opt for making such a huge platform for us

Dude you have a Visa Exipration date... That should be enough to clear off any doubts you have... Period..

They can travel anytime before six months of the visa expiration date.

No. My mom got it for the same reason but couldnt attend due to health reasons. And she visited next year. There was no problem.

No ... You can enter anytime you want but make sure you come with a return ticket since the immigration officer would ask you during port of entry. Else you will get No EOS No AOS No COS stamped on your passport which means no extension or adjustment or change of status during the Stay ....
