How much time does it take to get new I-20 with CPT

Hi Guys,

I am eligible for CPT from summer 2015. Do i need to apply for a new I-20 well in advance, i mean how many months before. Does this again require the whole process of approval from USCIS same like F1 approval , paying application fee again. How long does the duration take?
