reqirements for applying opt

hello everyone
i lost my passport vth valid f1 visa and done vth my restamping. i have started my graduation from fall 2013 and going to graduate on may 2015 and my sevis is same in the new visa too. i have the following queries
1) can i apply for opt since my sevis is active as i got new visa as i lost the other one
2) i heard dat we need 3.3 gpa to apply for opt but i have a gpa of 3.2

1. Yes, you can apply. It doesn’t matter if you lost your visa. As long as your SEVIS account is valid, there shouldn’t be any issues.
2. You are eligible for OPT as long as you are eligible to graduate. The minimum GPA is whatever minimum GPA is set by your school.
