Hello there,
I graduated from Master's degree in December, 2013. I was on valid OPT status until October after which I applied for an MBA program and received an acceptance and the I-20 that starts in Jan. 2015. I have a U.S visa until August 2015. I am traveling out of states in December and planning to return a few days before my semester starts in Jan. 2015. My question is: Can I travel with an MBA I-20 (issued on Oct. 29, 2014) and a valid visa without having any problems to re-enter the U.S? Will I be considered as a continuing student even though this is my first semester for second master's degree?
Also, my I-20 does not have third page signature (as this is my first semester as a MBA student), and I believe that criteria is only if the I-20 is older than 6 months. Correct me if I am wrong.
I will highly appreciate for providing accurate information.
Thank you so much.
