hello I am a masters student on F1 status....but due to some academic problems I got suspended from the University for Summer and Fall due to which My visa got expired. Now I have got readmission in the same program and same university but I have a different I20 and different sevis number and a new visa. I have completed 3 semesters of my masters program and only one se,ester is left. Now when I go back with new i20 and sevis number in Spring semester to complete my degree but can I apply for OPT in this semester and what are my options??

Okay - Means in 1 sem you will complete you masters and for OPT you need to be with school for 1 year. The best thing that I can think of is Do a double master finish your 1 yr and then apply for OPT. Good luck...Comment
