Hello. I am an international student with an F-1 Visa. The insurance is required for every international student there. Last semester I waived the insurance that the college offers, because it is very expensive. So, I got another one from a company. However, this year the college has made some changes and one of them is that the insurance must meet the Affordable Care Act requirements. It must also have unlimited maximum benefits. The insurance company I had last semester told me that they don't have any ACT plan and they do not have any plan that offers unlimited maximum policy. Is there any solution for problem? Is there any other company that provides any insurance like this ? I really do not want to purchase the insurance that the college offers, because it is a waste of money. Thank you

If you are planning to take outside insurance try with Aetna or Cigna ! They have affordable policies for students !!Comment

It is up to school . aca law did not mandate students to take insurance ..
