H4 to f1 conversion

Hi,

I am currently on h4 visa and have enrolled for a university last year. Till date I have obtained 27 credits. Now I would like to take break for 1 year goto India and return to US after 1year. While returning to US I an willing to come on f1 visa.

Can I take a long leave during my graduation?

What are the chances of my F1 visa approval?

After returning can I apply for cpt and start working?

Will I face any other specific problems which anyone of you are aware of?
