F1 Transfer Without Affecting Status. Need Info.
I Am A International Graduate Student Who Has Been Admitted Into X University For Winter 2014 Quarter (Quarter Starting Jan 1st & Ending March 20).
The X University Is Asking To Retake GRE, Which Is Not Possible In My Case. So, I Applied To Two Universities Y & Z. I Got Acceptance Into Y University For Summer'14 Starting June 5th, 2014 & I Am Waiting For Acceptance Into Z University For Fall'2014.
I Have Dropped Classes For Spring Quarter (Quarter Starting April 1st & Ending June 20) At X University (On April 21st, 2014), Because I Already Have Admit From Y University & Credits/Courses Don't Transfer From X to Y.
My Question Is, If The University Z Accepts Me For Fall Semester Starting August 25, 2014, Can I Skip/Not Register For Summer Semester At University Y (As I Prefer Univ. Z Over Univ. Y) & Directly Transfer SEVI's From Univ. X To Z, Would It Affect My F1 Status ? As There Is A Long Gap (April'14 To August'14).
