Automatic revalidation visa urgent

Hello guys!

I am from india. I came to US for study purpose and I am currently studying. My I-20 is valid till 2016, but visa was expired in 2012. I found this information that I can visit Haiti and can come back in less than 30 days on expired visa. I found this information on http://www.ice.gov/sevis/travel/faq_f2.htm#_Toc81222014.

Can you please verify this for me if I can visit Haiti for less than 30 days and come back without any problem on my expired F-1 visa (12/12/12) and valid passport (Expires in 2018). I am citizen of India. Came to USA in 2007. I am NOT going there to renew my visa. I am going there to help poor people who are in need of medical help. Let me know if you need anything else to answer this question. Thank you very much.

Did any one did this and didn't have any problem or if yes, what type?
