Student visa - Reentry

Hi All,

I went US on student visa on 28 Dec due to some personal issues i came back to india on 3Jan. Now i have two options for me

1) If i go to uS again before the university starts will i have a problem at the port of entry as i have left country in 4 days?

2) Can i join the university next semister for this do i have to attend the student visa again?

Just to elaborate. answer..Next official semester would be in August..If you come for summer in may you should attend so..it is mostly yes

Thanks You for your resonse I am thinking to join the university this semester itself, but in the i20 start of university is mentioned as 9 Jan'14, i have sent mail to the university for the extension . But my doubt is that will the port of entry official ask me why am i coming late or left the country

Hi my visa was approved on 20 Nov. Does the 5 months span start from the issue of visa or start of the semester or anything else?
