Dismissed from University, got a new admission. SEVIS TRANSFER?

Hi,

I had joined ABC University in Spring 2013 for MSIS and as I could not maintain a 3.0 GPA for first 2 sems. I am currently dismissed from my University. My overall GPA is 2.6. I want to transfer to other university and got admission in other XYZ University for Spring 2014. I am worried of my SEVIS transfer. Will ABC University transfer my SEVIS ID to the XYZ University? If they don’t I have to start my masters from beginning. Back to INDIA and apply for a new VISA. Worried about my SEVIS transfer. They DO or they DON’T ?( 1st University)

Read your university academic policies,there shld be appeal procedure for most universities.Dont panic,u should be ok for transfer.

I don't think you'd have any problem. If you fill up the transfer form from ABC and get authorized signatures and admission letter from XYZ, ABC will release and transfer your SEVIS.

talk to your DSO .. and you dont need new visa to start again ..

U may need to re enter the country on a new sevis after paying sevis, but no need od stamping as said

I don't think they will dismiss you after 2 sems ... You might be on probation!!!

My friend got dismissal from two universities even he was able to transfer to third university so you don't need to worry! Just take admission from XYZ and apply for transfer from ABC!! Good luck.

I've the same situation now. I've to transfer to other university. I couldn't get admission in any university. Can you pleas me in finding a university?
