Major Change in same univ after got visa from India

Hi, i got visa recently and now i want to submit department change form to my university since i want to change major. i am trvaeling to usa in next month ending but i want to submit this major change form now and get it done before i come.

i know they issue new i-20 with the department change, will this affect sevis or does it cause any problem at immigration check while entering, what should i do shall i change my major after coming there? let me know
