Options after OPT completion. H1B or J1 Visa?

Hey guys,

I am currently on my OPT and have about 7 months remaining. My employer is willing to sponsor H1-B visa If I can get upto a supervisory position within this time. I dont think that will happen and my education does not qualify for STEM extention.

I wanted to ask is it possible for a F1 Student in OPT to become a J-1 Status? and if yes then does the US law require us to go back to India for at least 2 years after J-1 expiration?

Or if there are any other option available.

Can u give us more detail about u r employment .. j1 has diff categories called programs .. if u come under those program and u r employer sponsor for that program then u can eligible for j1 ..
