I am currently working on a STEM OPT, that's expiring soon and didn't get picked in H1B 2023 lottery.
I am thinking of enrolling in a Day 1 CPT. Can I submit CPT paperwork with current job (working on STEM OPT) that I a working on. If there is a gap of few days before joining the new university, can I work unpaid/Volunteering till that time? Or is it a good idea to quit and join back once I get CPT work authorization?
