Hello!! Please suggest..
I have a full time Job offer and supposed to start work from August first week. But due to some unexpected delays in my Program of study I have to take one course in the Fall semester (2013) to meet the course requirement. So I have decided of taking an on line course and start job on CPT and then later continue with OPT. Fall 2013 will be my last semester and I am going to enroll for one on-line course (3 credits) and 2 credits for thesis defense and 2 credits for CPT. But now the problem is with the end date of CPT and start date of OPT??
Lets say if I start my CPT from August .Now for Fall 2013 graduation I need to defend before Nov 15th , and as per DSO , the CPT end date should be before the date of defense (Nov 15th ). But now till November I am still not completed my one course so I cannot put my start date of OPT before Nov 15th or Nov 16th, the start date of OPT can be December 7th (end of fall semester and also my one course completion).
My status will be at stake between Nov 15th and December 7th.Can you please suggest?
