Working for more than 40 hours a week on CPT while school is in session

Hi, I have been doing internship since May 2016. My last date for the cpt is in december. I am doing courses also in parallel along with cpt by attending evening classes. I worked for more than 40 hours a week some times. Please let me know if there is any problem working for more than 40 hours in CPT period while doing courses. I didn't think of this and really worried now.
Also, by december I will be done with around 8 months of CPT. So can I work part time CPT in my last semester from jan to may 2017 for the same company if university allows me. I want to know about this before accepting the offer as I don't want this to effect my OPT. Appreciate your suggestion. Thanks in advance.

1. It is okay to work fulltime when school is also running.
2. Make sure you don't work for 12 months on CPT. 11 months max is a good option (I have worked for 11.5 months on CPT).
3. Avoid working for more than 40 hours on CPT. This will be questioned in very rare cases.
