hello, i am studying my graduation in x university, i got my CPT through my university from sep 6th to dec 14th , and i am in valid f1 status , my visa expires 2019 dec , my question is can i travel to india and come back when i am in CPT , and i am doing an Unpaid CPT full time ,i want to return back on dec 5th before my CPT expires , will it be a problem ? , i don’t have any pay stubs as i am doing an unpaid internship , is it ok if i can travel with offer letter and a leave of approval from my employer ? thank you

It is not safe to travel when u have cpt as u r comming to us to study not to work . Their will be some kind of risk associated with the travel . If you still want to risk try for alternativesComment

There are two ways to deal with this... Cancel you cpt get a new i20 get is signed and then you are good to roll out...
Or
If you have proper documentation which you dont... Then you can...
Mostly it should be safe with option one... Please carry all the docs from your school and i20 and other stuff... Good luck...Comment

Get sign on you cpt 2nd page travel section. Get lettrr from dso mentioning the reason for emergency, get a letter from manager if possible but not necessary. Cpt is totally related to your masters program. Dont worry about others. Cpt is not real work. Cpt is applying your Masters practices in real time environmentComment
