Distance between Stay and University....impact on CPT..Visa interview

Hi Guys,

If university is offering monthly once class....Is it harmful to stay in different state than the university. And also will it cause any issue taking CPT on day 1.

University in [B]XYZ[/B] state and Staying and also working on CPT in [B]ABC [/B]state.... Distance between University and stay is about 5 hours... Any experiences, please share...

I am in this situation and need to decide about my stay.
