H-1B denied- want to enroll in status maintaining school

Hi all
My H-1b was denied and hence the company laid me off. My grace period is ending in about a month.

1. I don't want to have a break in work for a long time and I want to know if there are schools which I can enroll to maintain status and give CPT right away. .. I live in IL, but I can travel anywhere and attend classes once a month or so.
2. Also what is required for getting CPT? Are these colleges very strict in giving CPT- like it should be very much related to coursework?
3. Heard some colleges give only part time cpt. So can the employer double the hourly pay rate and run payroll part time?

There is one in San Jose, CA but their deadline for Fall 2015 just ended. There is another one in San Diego and they have session starting from Aug but they require 80% attendance through out the semester. Classes on Tues and Thrus.

There are three colleges that i know. East side.. Goldey Beacom (you or ur employer has to be on eastern part of US), Central.. Sullivan University (better make an original SOP when applying, if they find you copied from internet they will not give you admission) and West.. ITU.. all the best
