This is really urgent. I am in trouble now. I am on f-1 visa and OPT expiring June 13. I am working for a small firm in IL. My h-1b is not selected. I am planning to take the CPT from day1 option. My company is perfectly fine with it unless and until I have work authorization document but they also wanted to ask the lawyer. But the lawyer doesn't seem to know about taking CPT and said that there has be EAD card to work. Now my company is skeptical but also wants to ask other lawyers. Can anyone suggest or message me a really good and liberal immigration firm / lawyer preferably in chicago to convince my employer that it is totally fine?
