Big confusion regarding CPT.. Please help..

Hello Guys,

I'm in a big dilemma, so here is the situation. I'm on CPT since my H1B wasn't picked, there are two layers between me and my client, I report to layer B, now I'm getting a pretty good offer from layer A but they are afraid that layer B will file a lawsuit against them if they hire me.. I'm on CPT so legally is there any law which can bind any company or myself to shift.. Please help me out if there is any way out..

The reason A is worried about lawsuit is most likely because there is some contract between A and B, and hiring you is not allowed by that contract without payment of a fee or penalty.
