CPT eligibility

1. Is day 1 CPT available only for second masters? Do I need to be a transfer student to get day 1 CPT?
2. If I graduate from a university, then get a new I 20 and SEVIS from another university which offers day 1 CPT, will I still qualify for it? Or should the SEVIS record be for one complete academic year?

uscis says after one year but there is an exclusion or a loop hole that was given DSO has a right to take a decision and approve the CPT .so most of the small collages in calif are giving day one cpt .I have done the masters from that type of masters but took cpt from semister two because i have to learn a technology

Hi could you please post your university .. so that i can get admission ([email protected]). I was came in May entry.. i would like to apply MS computers - CPT elgible from starting only.
