  • Couple of questions on CPT

    Hi guys,
First of all, I would like to thank all members who have been very helpful with a lot of useful information being posted on this page. I have a couple of questions regarding CPT from day 1. Would be great if anyone could help with these. I have done some research in this forum, but couldn't find answers for all

    1. How difficult is it to get admission, is it competitive, what is the acceptance rate? What is the course structure and exams like? Will it be difficult to manage both work and classes?

    2. Has anyone enrolled in CPT from day 1 in KSI, Chicago? Do they still offer CPT from day one or at least after a month or two? Should I have to submit GRE/TOEFL scores and recommendation letters from professors for second masters at all universities, which offer CPT from day 1? Is there any other college in the Chicago area which offer CPT from day 1?

    3. Should the college have to be in the same location as the work place? Should I still attend classes or can I take online courses and work in CPT?

    4. I see that most universities, which give CPT from day 1, offer mainly computer science courses. Has anyone chosen courses other than CS? I am currently working in non CS field and don’t have much background in CS. Can I apply for CS and work in a non CS field?

    Thanks
