    Hello All!
I'll be graduating in May,2015. I've been on Full-Time CPT for Nearly 4 months with an Employer and haven't got any Job so far. Now That I want to apply for OPT and by the time my opt begins it'll be 8 months on cpt. I haven't had any payroll run for me. Also, When I obtained cpt, My offer letter doesn't mention anything about my remuneration. My questions are:
    1. Will I have any problem getting EAD card for being unpaid for about 8 months(Considering I stay on CPT till may)?
    i. If yes, Then how should I Approach this? Can I simply state that It was an unpaid Intern Or Would It be suggestable to cancel my current Cpt and wait untill I get my EAD card?

    Thanks In advance

You can state you were an unpaid intern, and it may not be an issue for OPT. However, why are you on CPT if you are not getting paid and are not getting credit for work? There is no benefit for you so why continue?

Now I have another opportunity, This time a paid intern. I have to transfer/change my CPT and I'll be applying for OPT in a week's time.
Will it Cause any problem for my OPT? As I have changed employers in cpt?

I am on CPT , what it will be if lose my job.?

            Hello Everyone ,
I am on full-time CPT and I will be graduating in June 2015 . My CPT is for 6 months valid . Its a month working here as Intern . I have sense , that I couldn't able to match-up to level of their expectations. my quick concern is , what if they fire me ?
            1. Will I have any problem now or future ? Does it require to run payroll ? Since I am not from consultancy I don't see any option for running payroll ?
            2. Is canceling the CPT is good option to go with ?
How do I need to approach for this situation ? Please kindly reply back .
            Thanks .

1)there wont be any problem if possible try to run a little salary as pay roll .incase if you get an rfe to show the pay stubs and w2 2) you can tell them that it is an unpaid but dont cancel the cpt you can complete it or else you may get rfe to explain why the cpt was cancelled in the middle

                    Hello ,
Thanks for reply . As I mentioned I am not from consultancy , I have no option for running the pay-roll . My school is not ready for change of employer atleast . So , how would I deal with it?
