Hello,
I am currently doing my masters joined in Fall 2014. I would like to apply for CPT for Summer 2015 and extend it to next term i.e fall 2015 followed by OPT
Please answer my doubts regarding CPT and OPT.
1) It was given in the rules that having a full time CPT for one year or more makes the student ineligible for OPT. If it is so, is the scenario that I mentioned (summer+fall) is considered as one year CPT making me ineligible for OPT ?
2) I will be left with 2 courses to complete my graduation. I would like to do CPT for 2 terms instead of taking those courses. Is is possible?
3) Is there a limit on the salary during CPT?
4) Are all the job offers accepted for CPT ? Are there any exceptions like consulting companies that provide training and employment?
