Yes, There is no limitation on part time CPT. you can do it as long as you wish.

As far as I know: You can go for un-limited part-time CPT. 12 months of full-time CPT will void OPT. Confirm with your DSO.

part time cpt accrues at half rate compared to full time cpt. S6 months of part time cpt means 3 months of full time cpt. To be eligible for OPT make sure you work less than 12 month full time( on cpt). Hope that helps
