i Need suggestions on taking CPT please

Hi All, i am planning to take cpt from january 2015. i came to usa last december 2013, it's been a year now. initially i came to one university and after first semister i transfered to other university due to grades issue. currently i am in harrisburg univ ( transfered here for this fall semister).

i am planning to take cpt from january, will there be any problems further at OPT or stem extensions if i take cpt? and also do i need to choose same state(university state) employer for CPT or is it ok if employer location is in other state then university?

please tell me and suggest.

If you do 12 months or more of CPT, you cannot get OPT.
