Hi,
I have worked for a consultancy on CPT for more than 1 year. My payroll has been run only for 20 hrs in last 6 months as it would become a problem for my OPT. I have filled my client time sheets for 40 hrs as I cannot be a part time employee there. I'm graduating this december and have applied for my OPT. I'm also travelling to India thsi month and returning back before my graduation.
1. Will this be considered as an illegal employment by USCIS?
2. Will I have any problem on getting OPT?
3. Should I quit my travel plans to India in order to face risk at POE?
4. Can USCIS check with my client for my employment duration? (I have 2 vendors between client and employer. I gave only my employer name in my CPT form to USCIS)
