I'm a Fall 2014 student pursuing 1 year Masters course and have to start my CPT from December. I have a couple of queries with regards to this and would appreciate help from your end.
1) I came across a plenty of consultants, who are asking me to sign a bond/agreement for a year.
On the other hand, I have heard that in United States, there is no such thing as bonded labor and these contracts are legally of no use.
Can anyone , please some throw light on the issue, that what can happen at worse, if I Break the bond/contract/agreement in between.
2) I have around 3 years of IT exp while most of the consultants say they will hike up my exp in the resume to 6-8 years. I am just worried about the consequences of showing this fake ex, As in during my OPT filing or OPT STEM extn or H1B will this create a problem??
