I was in xxx university in masters program for one and half year(full time). I transferred to yyyy university and started from beginning. I have a job offer letter. Will I be eligible to apply for CPT in new university from beginning university. If am eligible, will it effect my OPT in future? Please give right answers as soon as possible as I've to be fast in making a decision about my job and the join date is nearing. Thanks in advance.

As our friends mentioned contact your DSO regarding CPT. Prefer to have CPT for less than 1 year (say 11months 15 days). If you have it more than an year, this will affect your OPT.
If you can work for 20 hours per week prefer a part time CPT which is not counted as CPT period.
