CPT eligibility for second master

Hello DesiOPT team,

Please help me and provide suitable suggestion to resolve my confusion.
Currently I am pursing my second master degree (already used one year of OPT). Am I eligible for CPT after completion of one semester (12 credits)? And how long can I work on CPT as anyhow I would not be getting second OPT.

Hi,
Your case is not specific. If you are enrolled for your second masters your I 20 will be updated under F1 irrespective of your previous OPT.
You will be eligible for CPT after 10
