CPT with employer as a consultancy??
Hi,
I'm seeking an Internship for Summer 2014 and Fall 2014. I'm eligible to apply for CPT. I could not get an Internship offer from a direct client. I'm now thinking to utilize my CPT by joining a consultancy, do training/marketing through them and work with a client. Since this will not be a direct job offer from client and involves layers (vendor and consultancy), would I be in a problem when I apply for OPT/OPT-extension/H1 visa?
Also, I don't know whether it would be illegal to earn around 40/50$ per hour during CPT as normal pay rate usually is 15-20$ per hour.
Kindly share your experiences and help me in taking a decision.
