Unpaid coop. Employer says not necessary to file I-9
Hello,
I am on CPT and I requested my employer to file the I-9. Employer says that it is not necessary as I am not being paid. Must the employer necessarily file my I-9?
Any sort of help/advice or experience will be helpful.
